Thanks a lot for flagging this and for the kind words about the models — that’s really a credit to the wider YOLO community and Ultralytics contributors.
We don’t pre‑approve or endorse third‑party repos that use “ultralytics” in their name or build “pro” wrappers around YOLO, and we also haven’t granted any special permissions to the repo you linked. Commercial offerings built on Ultralytics YOLO are allowed, but only if they fully comply with the AGPL‑3.0 license and properly respect our branding.
Under AGPL‑3.0, any project that uses Ultralytics code or models must treat its entire larger work as AGPL‑licensed and make the complete corresponding source available, as outlined in our contributing and AGPL-3.0 compliance guide. That requirement applies whether or not they are charging for access.
We’ll review the iscyy/ultralyticsPro repository internally (both from a license and trademark perspective) and, if we find non‑compliance, we’ll reach out directly to the maintainer to resolve it. If you come across any other concrete examples or evidence of misuse, feel free to share them here or via our support channels — it genuinely helps us protect the community and keep the ecosystem healthy.
