Combining Ultralytics YOLO with Career Certifications – Advice?

Hey everyone,

First off, big thanks to the Ultralytics team and this community..YOLOv8 has been super helpful for my personal projects! I’ve been experimenting with object detection on drone footage and getting pretty decent results, even as someone still learning.

That said, I’m thinking ahead to how I can turn this knowledge into career opportunities. I’m considering doing some Microsoft certifications..specifically in data science or AI. Has anyone here taken that route? Would a certification like that actually complement hands-on experience with YOLO and give me an edge in the job market?

Also, I’d love to hear how others here have leveraged Ultralytics in real-world scenarios. Did you use it in freelance work, academic research, or even in a job interview portfolio?

Trying to balance building skills with showing them off properly, so if anyone has tips on connecting the dots between tools like YOLO and recognized credentials, I’d really appreciate the insight.

Thanks in advance!
David
