# YOLOv8 not detecting small objects well

It’s a bit challenging to provide helpful advice with such limited information. In general, the comments [posted here](https://community.ultralytics.com/t/improvement-of-classification-accuracy-in-yolov11/1028/2) are likely applicable. Beyond that, if you need more specific help, sharing the training configuration, model version and size, dataset size (image count and object instance count), image resolution, object size(s) you’re having issues with, and examples of problematic images/objects, it would help to be understand the situation.
